Abstract
In this article the author presents various interpretations of former Israel Prime Minister Ben Gurion's statement "This will be the Nuremberg of the Jewish people" with regard to German Nazi lieutenant colonel Adolf Eichmann's capture by Israel in 1960. She describes the framework within which Eichmann trials were conducted to highlight its difference with the Nuremberg trials which was a series of military tribunals held during World War II for the prosecution of Nazi members in Germany.
