The modified FitzHugh-Nagumo system as an oscillator

The use of the modified FitzHugh-Nagumo system is extended to the limit cycle regime. Ranges of parameters for which such oscillatory behavior prevails are calculated and properties of phase space and individual pulses are obtained.
