Abstract

By using tritons from pile irradiated Li⁶, the reaction O¹⁷(t, p)O¹⁹ was observed. The thick target yield at E_t≦2.73 MeV was measured. The effective cross section of the reaction was evaluated and found to be 34±7mb.
