Abstract
Three cases of acute radiation nephritis are described. Renograms during the acute stage of disease demonstrated severe damage in the second and third phases. There was a positive correlation between laboratory data and the renograms. During followup the renograms showed improvement but there remained indications of persistent renal damage. In 1 case the renogram became normal. It is suggested that repeat renograms may aid in the differential diagnosis of radiation nephritis in cancer patients.
