Abstract

The feasibility of using a miscible organic solvent to precipitate electrolytes from aqueous solutions was studied. Two electrolytes in an aqueous solution can be separated if their precipitating constants λ’s fulfill the requirements λ2> λ1, λ1< 2.5, λ2> 2.0.
