Abstract

The theoretical approaches of the Flux Compression Electromechanical Converter were applied to study of the Switched Reluctance Generator. It is shown, that the SRG could be considered as a particular case of the Flux-Compression Electromechanical Converter. The two constructions of the SRG, one has a magnetic saturation effect in the stator work and other one without it, are compared. The influence of the strong magnetic saturation in the stator yoke on the Energy Gain of the SRG is discussed.
