Abstract

The spontaneous fission branching ratios (B) of even-Z 90 ≤ Z ≤ 100, nuclei were found to be correlated to log B = 1.6247 × Z - 1.0361(2Z - N) - 114.66. Based on this correlation, it is predicted that the isotopes ²²⁶Ra and ²²⁸Th are spontaneous fission isotopes.
