Abstract

Vapour pressures of saturated aqueous LiCl, NaBr, NaNO3, NH4NO3, and NH4Cl were measured in the temperature range 283 K to 313 K using an evaporimetric technique, and compared with literature values. From the vapour pressures, the water activities, osmotic coefficients, and molar enthalpies of vaporization and solution at saturation were evaluated.
