Abstract
SINCE the first reports of the electromechanical behaviour of bone1, the properties of bone as a physical material have attracted increasing attention. I now report some thermal expansion coefficients for animal bone and some calculations for the piezoelectric contribution to the pyroelectric effect at constant stress.
