Abstract

A thermodynamic analysis is made of the iron-chromium-carbon system. The calculation results are used to plot isothermal sections of the constitutional diagram of the iron-chromium-carbon system in the 973-1673 K temperature range. The concentration and temperature regions of stability of Me3C, Me7C3, and Me23C6 carbides are established.
