Abstract
The thermophoretic interaction of heat releasing particles was investigated. The force was caused by the induced temperature gradient which was propotional to the rate of heat release by the particle. A condition for mutual attraction of two spherical heat releasing particles was determined and an expression for the thermophoretic force acting at the particles was derived.
