Abstract
2-lithio-4,5-disubstituted-1,3-dithioles react with CS2 in thepresence of an excess organolithium reagents yielding a product of thiophilic addition; subsequent alkylation furnished a new series of2-[bis(alkylthio)methylene]-1,3-dithioles.
