Three-dimensional effective phaseshifts in the presence of electric fields

Abstract

A three-dimensional method for calculating effective phaseshifts in the presence of electric fields is presented. This constitutes a generalisation of the previously developed one-dimensional scheme. A numerical example is solved for a screened Coulomb potential.
