Abstract

The radiation from a pulsed source distribution can be described by a spectrum of time-dependent plane waves or of spherical waves (multipoles). These two fundamental representations are based on the slam stack transform and on the time-dependent multipole moment, respectively. In this article, we present a direct transformation relating these two representations.
