Abstract
We have been used to working methods whereby the designer draws lines on paper, and where these lines stand for an object that is impossible, the error is apt to appear after the passage of much time, when the production man realizes he is trying to do something that is unfeasible. Today the design work passes on from the methods of drawing on paper to methods suitable for drawing by computer. With modern computerized methods which are now beginning to appear on the market, it is not possible to feed with the computer a drawing that does not represent a true-three-dimensional object. If the drawn object is not feasible, the computer will protest at once. The paper reviews the methods whereby the computer verifies the feasibility of a three-dimensional object.
