Abstract
A discussion on whether transboundary aquifers are a source of conflict or peace was presented. All major groundwater sources in the Middle east cross international boundaries, including the coastal Mediterranean and mountainous aquifers that are mutually exploited by Israel and Palestinians. It was suggested that Israelis and palestinians could also reach a peaceful resolution for sharing their ever-diminishing water resources.
