Abstract

In the framework of Franco-Soviet cooperation in achieving unification of measurements of the transfer properties of metals, investigations were performed of the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity of molybdenum which is a promising reference material for thermal conductivity. The thermal diffusivity was measured by two methods in the temperature range 300-2200 degree K. The thermal conductivity was measured by the longitudinal thermal flux method.
