Abstract
A case of transient bilateral anterior internuclear ophthalmoplegia of vascular origin is presented. Severe impairment of cerebral blood flow due to diffuse and marked arteriosclerotic changes in both carotid and vertebrobasilar artery territories and the transient character of this episode pointed to a vascular etiology of the ocular symptomatology.
