Abstract

Trimethylsilyl derivatives of the dimethylhydrazides of aromatic acids have been prepared.¹H,¹³C, and²⁹Si NMR spectroscopy were used to establish that these derivatives are the dimethylhydrazones of the trimethylsilyl esters of the aromatic acids exclusively in the Z configuration.
