The authors would like to thank A. Arima, M. Kirson, O. Scholten and I. Talmi for interesting discussions. We are also greatly indebted to Eng. B. Feld- man for his expertise with the mechanical setups. Four of us (A.G., J.G., G.J.K. and K.-H.S.) are grateful to the Weizmann Institute for its warm hospitality. A.G., G.J_K. and K.-H.S. acknowledge the support of the Minerva Foundation.

N2 - A 10+ isomer has been established at EX = 3208.5 keV with τ = 485(20) ns and g = -0.19(1). The coexistence of this state with the other neutron-dominated 10+ state at backbending [EX = 3719.3 keV, τ = 8(1) ps, g = -0.20(20)] is unexpected.
