Abstract
An optical chiral purification which can be accomplished in just two steps, in a scheme which overcomes the given drawbacks was demonstrated. In the first one, called "enantio-discriminator," one enantiomer while leaving the other in its initial state was given. In the second one, called "enantio-converter," the enantiomer excited in the previous step was converted to its mirror-image form. Thus, in just two steps, the racemic mixture of chiral molecules could be converted into the enantiomer of choice.
