Abstract

(Prov. viii 8) is the equivalent of (Gen. xxiv 16; 2 Ki. xxi 5) and Akkadian kaspum ittiq, all meaning "silver traveling overland for commercial use". 2. and , "possessions" and "treasuries" (Prov. viii 21) are equivalents of Akkadian buou and b"t nakkamti.
