Abstract
The UNIFAC group contribution method is applied to solutions of silicone compounds. Reliable vapor-liquid equilibrium data are used to estimate interaction parameters between six common groups and two groups containing silicon. A general purpose optimization package is used to estimate the interaction parameters.
