Abstract
A method of calculation, successfully applicable to the accuracy analysis of diverse mechanical devices: machine tools, mechanisms, robots, etc. , is proposed on the basis of analysis of one of the fundamental concepts of the theory of accuracy - the concept of an error and reconsideration of its mathematical description. Calculation formulae are presented.
