N2 - A new osseointegrated anchorage device that holds a prosthetic nail plate was used successfully in eight patients, for a total of nine missing fingernails, secondary to trauma. There was only one early failure associated with patient noncompliance. The average follow-up time was 18 months. Details of the technique and three illustrative cases are presented.
