Abstract

The simple untransformed Monte Carlo calculation is a direct analogue of the behaviour of X-ray photons. A PDP 11/40 minicomputer was connected to a visual display terminal and photon histories were simulated, displayed on the screen and photographed. Observation of the pictures obtained enables one to see the effects of various parameters in radiography.
