Abstract

Climate warming increases surface water and affects water sources in alpine areas. It is important to use these water resources effectively to promote the restoration of degraded grasslands and to develop suitable water utilization facilities. This chapter discusses (1) water resources in the plateau grassland and how they can be applied in grassland restoration; (2) water resource utilization and recycling in combination with solar and wind power technology; and (3) suggestions on the sustainable utilization and development of water resources in alpine areas.
