What spatial light modulators can do for 3D imaging

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Optical imaging can benefit from integrating phase-only spatial light modulators (SLMs) into imaging systems. This review provides a brief roadmap for SLM-aided holographic imaging systems. We begin with the well-known Fresnel incoherent correlation holography recorder and conclude with the most recent versions of interference-free coded aperture holography systems.
