Zeeman effect in NQR in the rotating coordinate system

Abstract

When linearly polarized radio-frequency fields act on a spin system of nuclei having a quadrupole moment, the degeneracy of the energy levels of the system is removed in the rotating coordinate system. The possible application of this effect to the determination of the asymmetry parameters of the electric field gradient of polycrystalline samples is examined.
